Vegetarian Diet is a broad term to describe a diet without meat and/or eggs and/or dairy products.  For some, they may even exclude animal products.

There are three types of vegetarian diet.  Firstly, a vegan diet does not include any forms of meat , eggs or dairy products.  A lacto-ovo diet allows eggs and dairy products.  A lacto-vegetarian diet allows eggs.

The vegetarian diet consists mainly of the following.  One should consult a nutritionist or seek expert advise when considering the appropriate for the full vegetarian diet, as one needs to consider his/her current health situation and lifestyle.
